![]() EOZ just casts that to the wind and tells you to punch everything that gets in your way. Also, you didn't always have a way to defeat the enemies at first. But I don't like the fist fight dynamic and the plethora of first aid that this DLC has, it makes it seem very arcade like and nothing close to survival horror.Īt least NAH gave you limited resources for how many enemies were thrown at you. I like the ending for sure and I like the boss that you face throughout, that was great. Really this DLC is so so, I like it for the files you can read and for the story it conveys. At least you can unlock a shotgun after the first playthrough so if you play again it doesn't seem so ridiculous. ![]() It just seems outrageous and unbelievable. Then you walk around punching the molded's faces off. What with how you regain health by eating grubs and such(yes, I know you can mix them to make fist aid bottles but that doesn't help). It does show you the fate of Zoe but I found this new character to be a bit much. I think NAH is a great free DLC and I'm even more excited for the next Resident Evil now.ĮOZ is interesting, definitely a different take. The WM-001a forms were also terrifying when you don't have enough grenades to throw. The Mama Molded (WM-001) were actually good though, it felt like an actual boss battle. The new enemies are interesting although I didn't like how it only took one shot to kill the WM-002 forms. I think there is a lot that can be done in the future with what has been esablished in RE7 plus it's DLC. It names this new corporation/crime syndicate, there is the new Umbrella Corp PMC, and obviously it expands on just what mold bio-weapons can do. It also sets up possible story points for the next game. It's not extremely detailed but it absolutely fills out some holes in the main story. Why is that? Are Capcom trying to make them like Umbrella? Because at least in RE1, you get to see an derelict Umbrella mansion, find out why they're making monsters, how things went wrong, some of their backstory, etc.Ī lot more Umbrella lore is expanded upon in the next two games too but in RE7 & RE8? Hardly anything outside of missable lore! Like.I disagree, there was quite a bit of story for a free 90 minute long DLC. I don't even think they're ever mentioned by name or in documents in RE7's main campaign (in fact I think they're first mentioned in a missable lore document at the end of Chris Redfield's DLC). Its also good to hear that Nintendo has been. ![]() They also got the mutamycete that eventually created the Molded from Miranda's village with Miranda's help.Īnd yet, across two whole games, a lot of this crucial info for the overarching antagonist has only been shown in missable lore documents. Capcom isnt a charity, but I hope that good feedback leads them to port the RE Engine (and RE7) to Switch. ![]() Complete Not a Hero on Easy or Normal difficulty. It's even revealed that they worked with Mother Miranda and created Eveline, the lead villain of RE7, for her. The Not a Hero Add-on for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has 2 achievements worth 60 gamerscore. In RE8, they're the reason why Ethan and Mia are entered into a witness protection program and forced to live in Eastern Europe for three years. Instead, they basically told Lucas Baker to monitor his own infected family for research, work on new Molded and keep an eye on Eveline. They're the group that hired Ethan's wife, Mia, and even after Mia got shipwrecked with Eveline they didn't retrieve either of them. ![]() They're the ones directly responsible for the Mold monsters and the creation of Eveline in RE7. So, for the last two RE games there's been a major antagonist that I presume most players have never even heard of: an Eastern European crime group called The Connections. ![]()
